What should we pay attention to in daily life?
1. Quit the habit of masturbation, and abstain from sexual activity during treatment.
2. Adjust your diet, avoid raw, cold, greasy and spicy foods, do not drink excessive alcohol, and abstain from smoking.
3. This disease has a long treatment course and slow results, so treatment should be continued.
4. Actively treat the primary disease.
5. This disease is one of the causes of infertility. To enable the woman to become pregnant, the semen can be centrifuged and artificial insemination can be performed.
Low sperm count
Oligospermia refers to a semen volume of less than 1.5 ml per ejaculation. The amount of semen is related to the length of abstinence; longer abstinence results in a larger semen volume, and vice versa. This condition is one of the causes of male infertility.
Causes of disease
1. Incomplete gonadal development or gonadal atrophy, decreased function, or endocrine disorders can lead to insufficient or reduced levels of sex hormones such as testosterone in the body, which can cause a decrease in the secretion of seminal vesicles and prostate gland. For example, absence of seminal vesicles or atrophy of the prostate gland can result in insufficient semen volume.
2. Infections of accessory glands can also cause decreased secretion. For example, in cases of prostatic tuberculosis or seminal vesicle tuberculosis, the amount of semen can be significantly reduced.
3. Pathological damage or obstruction of the sexual organs, such as space-occupying lesions of the seminal vesicles, prostate stones, and damage to the vas deferens caused by reproductive tract surgery, can all lead to semen excretion disorders, resulting in insufficient semen volume.
4. Frequent pathological ejaculation caused by various diseases can also result in insufficient ejaculation volume each time.
