Treatment and recuperation of common diseases
This disease is mainly manifested during sexual intercourse, when orgasm occurs and ejaculation takes place, with paroxysmal stabbing, colic, and dull pain occurring in the penis, testicles, perineum, lower abdomen, and upper scrotum. If it is caused by seminal vesiculitis, hematospermia is common; if it is caused by prostatitis, prostate examination and digital rectal examination can help in diagnosis; if it is caused by urethritis, it may be accompanied by urinary frequency, urgency, and dysuria.
How does Western medicine treat this?
If you experience pain during ejaculation, you should first find the cause. If the pain is relieved or stops during the first sexual intercourse after the couple has been separated, or after reducing the frequency of sexual intercourse, it is caused by excessive sexual intercourse. Reducing the frequency of sexual intercourse and resting for a period of time to allow the sexual organs to rest fully will eliminate the pain during ejaculation.
Painful ejaculation caused by strong or even rough male sexual intercourse should be addressed by reducing the amplitude and intensity of penile thrusting in and out of the vagina.
Phimosis can be the cause of phimosis and can be treated with circumcision.
If the pain is caused by prostatitis, a digital rectal examination can be performed to palpate an enlarged prostate, or a prostate fluid examination can confirm the diagnosis. If it is caused by seminal vesiculitis, hematospermia may be present. If it is caused by urethritis, pus cells may be found in the urine. This pain during ejaculation is caused by infection of the genitals or urethra, and can be treated with antibiotics to reduce inflammation, or with penicillin 800,000 units intramuscularly twice daily, or gentamicin 80,000 units intramuscularly twice daily, or local shortwave diathermy.
If the above causes cannot be found, an X-ray should be taken to rule out the possibility of urethral stones, penile or other reproductive organ tumors. In this case, it is best to consult a urologist.
How does Traditional Chinese Medicine differentiate syndromes and treat diseases?
1. Cold stagnation in the meridians type: Symptoms include pain in the penis and upper scrotum during ejaculation, sometimes radiating to the lower abdomen, cold limbs, preference for warmth and pressure, pale tongue, white and moist coating, and deep and wiry pulse.
Treatment principle: Warm the meridians and dispel cold.
Prescription: Angelica sinensis 10g, Paeonia lactiflora 10g, Cinnamomum cassia 3g, Akebia trifoliata 6g, Asarum heterotropoides 3g, Evodia rutaecarpa 3g, Aconitum carmichaelii (decocted first) 6g, Zanthoxylum bungeanum 3g, Prunus mume 6g, Jujube 5 pieces, Glycyrrhiza uralensis (processed) 3g.
2. Liver Qi stagnation type: Symptoms include pain in the penis and base of the penis during intercourse, chest and rib distension, irritability, belching, poor appetite, pale tongue, thin coating, and wiry pulse.
Treatment principle: Soothe the liver and relieve depression, regulate qi and relieve pain.
Prescription: Bupleurum chinense 5g, Angelica sinensis 10g, Paeonia lactiflora 10g, Atractylodes macrocephala 10g, Poria cocos 10g, Paeonia suffruticosa 10g, Gardenia jasminoides 10g, Melia toosendan 10g, Citrus reticulata seed 10g, Scolopendra subspinipes 1 piece, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 6g.
3. Phlegm and Blood Stasis Obstruction Type: Symptoms include painful ejaculation, lower abdominal distension, perineal pain (especially after intercourse), difficulty urinating, white discharge after urine or defecation, dark red tongue, white and greasy tongue coating, and wiry or hesitant pulse.
Treatment principle: Eliminate phlegm and remove blood stasis.
Prescription: 10g fennel seeds, 10g cinnamon, 5g dried ginger, 10g angelica root, 10g chuanxiong rhizome, 10g red peony root, 10g poria cocos, 10g polyporus umbellatus, 15g alisma plantago-aquatica, 10g corydalis rhizome, 10g cattail pollen (wrapped), 10g trogopterus dung, 20g Liu Yi San (wrapped).
4. Damp-heat accumulation type: Symptoms include pain during intercourse, colic or dull pain in the penis, testicles, and perineum, irritability, bitter taste in the mouth, dampness or even swelling of the scrotum, dark yellow or dribbling urine, sticky and unsatisfactory bowel movements, red tongue, yellow and greasy coating, and slippery and rapid pulse.
Treatment principle: Clear heat and promote diuresis, disperse blood stasis and relieve pain.
Prescription: Gentian root 10g, Scutellaria baicalensis 15g, Gardenia jasminoides 10g, Plantago asiatica 10g, Akebia quinata 10g, Alisma plantago-aquatica 10g, Bupleurum chinense 10g, Angelica sinensis 15g, Rehmannia glutinosa 20g, Paeonia suffruticosa 15g, Achyranthes bidentata 10g, Taraxacum mongolicum 30g, Cirsium japonicum 30g, Glycyrrhiza uralensis 10g.
5. Kidney deficiency and essence depletion type: Symptoms include painful ejaculation, which is not severe and is mostly dull pain, accompanied by soreness and weakness of the lower back and knees, dizziness, general weakness, poor sleep, and often accompanied by low libido or weak erection. The tongue is pale or red, and the pulse is deep and thready or thready and rapid.
Treatment principle: Tonify the kidneys and replenish essence, regulate yin and yang.
Prescription: 15g Rehmannia glutinosa, 15g Cornus officinalis, 15g Dioscorea opposita, 10g Alisma plantago-aquatica, 15g Poria cocos, 10g Aconitum carmichaelii (decocted first), 6g Cinnamomum cassia, 15g Angelica sinensis, 15g Plantago asiatica (wrapped), 15g Viola yedoensis, 10g Talcum, 30g Taraxacum mongolicum, 15g Paeonia lactiflora, 10g Glycyrrhiza uralensis (prepared).
Traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for treating painful ejaculation
1. Take 2.4 grams of tortoise shell powder, 2.4 grams of turtle shell powder, and 1.5 grams of cinnabar, grind them into a fine powder, and take with rice wine.
2. Take 30 grams of Liu Yi San, 15 grams of Jin Qian Cao, and 15 grams of Hai Jin Sha, decoct in water and take one dose daily.
3. Prepared Rehmannia root 30g, Alisma rhizome 15g, Akebia stem 15g, Citrus aurantium fruit 15g, Anemarrhena rhizome 20g, Red peony root 15g, Corydalis rhizome 20g, Phellodendron bark 30g. Decocted in water and used as a sitz bath once a day.
4. Take 10g of Sichuan pepper, 15g of Corydalis rhizome, 6g of fennel, 15g of wolfberry, 10g of Lindera root, 6g of cinnamon, 10g of agarwood, and 6g of Evodia fruit. Decocted in water and taken once a day.
5. Take 15 grams of red peony root, 15 grams of white peony root, and 6 grams of licorice root, decoct in water, and take one dose daily.
6. Take 60 grams of Paris polyphylla, 10 grams of safflower, 15 grams of prepared frankincense, and 15 grams of prepared myrrh. Decocted in water, the decoction is used to fumigate and wash the affected area twice a day.
7. Grind 0.5 grams of nux vomica into a fine powder, mix 0.3 grams of musk with sesame oil to form a paste, apply to the navel, and secure with adhesive tape or analgesic plaster.
8. Peach kernel 15g, red peony root 30g, earthworm 10g, luffa fruit 15g, cinnamon twig 15g, strychnos nux-vomica 10g, decoct in water and use the liquid to fumigate and wash the affected area.
9. Take 30 grams of talc (wrapped), 30 grams of plantain seed (wrapped), 30 grams of Lysimachia christinae, and 15 grams of Lygodium japonicum. Decocted in water and taken once a day.
10. Take 30 grams of tangerine seeds, 20 grams of lychee seeds, 10 grams of green tangerine peel, 10 grams of pinellia, 15 grams of salvia miltiorrhiza, 2 centipedes, and 10 grams of turmeric. Decocted in water and taken once a day.
